If you think the Extensa method would be a good addition to your schedule, read on!

Let's start with our 3 programs

The Extensa method consists of 3 flexibility training programs:

Extensa Fitness:

Every Extensa Fitness class is designed to achieve optimum flexibility, by combining stretch, strength and balance techniques. Extensa Fitness is the most diverse of the Extensa method programs. Created to be accessible to all fitness levels, Extensa Fitness ranges from beginner to advanced workouts.

Extensa Flow:

Optimum flexibility is achieved through choreographed dance sequences and dance based exercises. Extensa flow is the most creative of the Extensa method programs. Dancers are strong and graceful, martial artists are flexible and agile… become all in one through an Extensa flow class.

Extensa Performance:

Tailored flexibility training sessions are sports and performance specific. Each training is designed specifically for the intended sport and based on the coaching and/or athletes desired goals. Program design can range from a restorative class that promotes active recovery or an intense training session that builds strength and flexibility throughout the entire body.

Where you would find an Extensa ____ class:

  1. A big box gym wants to offer a "stretching" class on their schedule. An Extensa Fitness class would be the perfect match.
  2. A dance studio wants to offer a flexibility training class to their students. An Extensa Flow class would be the perfect match.
  3. A high performance sports team wants to add flexibility training to their weekly schedule. An Extensa Performance class would be the perfect match.

Quite often our instructors choose to pursue more than one of our certifications so that they can broaden their range of participants.

For example:

  • A combination of an Extensa Fitness and Flow class would be perfect for a "dance based" flexibility class in a gym setting.
  • A combination of an Extensa Flow and Performance class would be perfect for an artistic sport that needs a combination of extreme flexibility, agility and artistry.

How to choose the right program

We always suggest choosing Extensa Fitness if you have limited flexibility training knowledge. The majority of the population will benefit immensely from Extensa Fitness classes.

Choose Extensa Flow or Performance if you already have extensive flexibility knowledge and would like to create a choreographed flexibility training class (Extensa Flow) and/or a flexibility training program for a specific sport (Extensa Peformance).

Once you have certified with one program, you receive a discount on the other two programs.
